Okay, so by this point you should have the shots you needed to record done on your phone! But the question is, how do you get them to us? Here are three ways to do so! ***PLEASE do not Email, Facebook Message/Any other Social Media message, or Text your videos to us. The quality of the videos goes down A LOT by doing this, so read below to see the proper methods!*** 1. UPLOAD DIRECTLY TO ONEDRIVE! *our preferred method Prerequisite: A Microsoft Account (OR if you can quickly make one, it is free to do!) We are using OneDrive, an awesome cloud storage tool to place all videos that will be used for the filmed Spring plays, so if you have an account or are able to make one, here is the guide below: Step 1.) Click the OneDrive Link from your phone! Your teachers will be in touch via email with your class link, and it should look similar to below, but with your class location and play: Step 2. Upload your videos! On the screen will be an “Upload” button. Click on “Files”, then you will be taken to your Phone’s files, and you can select and begin uploading! I do recommend that your phone has enough Battery life and is connected to WiFi so it can upload safely and quickly! 2. SHARE YOUR VIDEOS FROM YOUR PERSONAL CLOUD STORAGE! If the method above doesn’t work, or if you are not comfortable with having a Microsoft Account, then follow this guide below: Cloud Storage Providers we typically see used are Google Drive and Dropbox.
If you have or can get Google Drive: Step 1.) Install the Google Drive app on your phone from the App Store, if its not already on there. Step 2.) Go to the app, and tap the colorful plus button, then tap Upload, and choose the videos you want to be uploaded. Be sure you have enough Battery life and are connected to WiFi when doing this! Step 3.) After they have uploaded, go to one of the videos that you uploaded to Google Drive. Tap on the button with 3 dots, and then tap Share. You can share it to: [email protected] Step 4.) Repeat Step 3 with each video you are submitting. We will receive the videos and they will be taken care of from there! If you have Dropbox: Step 1.) Install the Dropbox App on your phone, and then make sure it is connected with your Dropbox account. Step 2.) When it’s all set click on the blue plus button. Then tap, “Upload photos or video” and then select the videos you want to upload. Make sure you have enough Battery life and are connected to WiFi when doing this! Step 3.) When this is done, tap the 3 dots on the side of one of the videos, and then tap “Share” Then in the “Send to” area, put this email address: [email protected] Step 4.) Repeat Step 3 for each video to be submitted! 3. SHARE VIA WETRANSFER.COM If neither of the above works out, then here is another option: Go to https://wetransfer.com/ Then follow the instructions and send to this email address: [email protected] And that’s it! It would be the easiest for Drama Kids if you can follow Option 1 to directly upload to our OneDrive, but we hope with providing all three options that we have made this process easier for you! If you have any questions or technical difficulties with Uploading, feel free to email Mr. Josh at [email protected] and he would be happy to help! We appreciate and thank you all for your hard work as we move further into filming!
