If you are new to Drama Kids, please note that our goal is to provide each student with a dynamic and fun learning environment whereby students are motivated to participate fully and achieve their personal best, at all levels of development. Our classes are fast-paced and fun! As a reminder to returning Drama Kids, please remember that we made some exciting changes to our in-school programming last year:
For a smooth first day of class, please send a note to your child's teacher telling the teacher that your child will start attending Drama Kids and needs to go to the music room at dismissal time. Your Drama Kids teachers, Alice & Jake, will be in the classroom ready to welcome your child! Pick-up. Parents are expected to pick up their children promptly outside of the music room by 5:15pm. We will be there to sign-out your children at 5:10pm. For security purposes, please have your ID ready whenever you pick up your child. We will also have you add any other approved adults to our sign-out sheet so please inform them that they will need to present their IDs at pick-up time. Thank you for your understanding and helping us to abide by these new security measures. Please bear in mind that our teachers must travel to teach DK classes directly after class...so please do not be late! Parents who are more than 15 minutes late will be assessed a $20 late fee. After-School. If you haven't done so already, please let us know if your child is in the after-school program. Children enrolled in the after-school program will be dismissed to the after-school coordinator after Drama Kids. We have a great year ahead of us! Please be sure to come up and meet your child's teachers at the end of class, as they will have more details about your child's classroom experience.
