I find that teaching drama allows you to keep your own skills fresh. It is also infinitely rewarding to see young talent blossom under your guidance. When I was a kid, I often felt like I didn't fit in. I didn't really know how to make friends, and I constantly sold myself short in terms of my value to the world. It wasn't until college that I really found drama. On the stage, I finally felt I had a place where what I had to say mattered. I found my voice, and it has been a constant in my life ever since." BIOGRAPHYTony has been acting on Capital Region stages and in local films for many years, and in 2016 became a member of Actors' Equity. In the early 2000s he worked as an acting teacher at the New York State Theatre Institute. Always one to pursue many passions simultaneously, Tony has worked professionally as a graphic designer and art director, writer and editor, and an elementary school teacher — with the theatre playing a constant role throughout. All-time favorite role has a name you're never supposed to say aloud in a theatre… do you know it?
