This year we wanted to make our Drama Kids' experience extra fun - and our Drama Parents' experience easier! Our Drama Kids sessions are now 12 weeks long - that's TWO sessions rather than three! This means you only have to worry about re-enrolling twice, AND if you pre-pay for the full year you only have to do it once! So what does this mean in regards to our pricing? One 12 week session is now $167.00, OR you can choose our new monthly payment option of just $59.00 a month! Plus, if you pre-pay for both the Fall and Spring you will save $30.00 off of the full price - that's only 324.00 for the full year! We hope our new payment structure makes it easier for you and your family to enjoy all the FUN Drama Kids has to offer - not the stress!
Customer Portal. For your convenience, you can access your account information on-line anytime. View your statements, pay off your balance, update your contact/billing info...all on-line! Go to dramakids.com/albany-ny and click on the tab Parent Portal. Set up a password using your email address, and you're good to go! TUITION IS NON-REFUNDABLE, with the exception of our conditional money-back guarantee, available to new students only. Tuition is due as required by the payment plan you select. There will be a $15.00 late fee applied to late payments. There is a $30.00 return check charge for any checks returned by the bank. The cost of our program is based on an average for a 6-month in-school program. This average fee proactively takes in account major holidays and added hours for dress rehearsals and spring performances. You will receive a calendar of classes shortly before the 1st day of class. **Monthly plans are paid by automatic credit card payment only.** The 1st month payment will be charged to your credit card upon registration, and then on the 15th of each subsequent month for a total of 3 months per session. Monthly payments reflect our annual tuition divided into equal monthly payments, regardless of how many times the class meets within that month. If you only register for the Fall Session you MUST re-enroll for the Spring Performance Session. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-serve basis, so do not delay! You can re-enroll at any time; payment is not due until the first day of the Spring Session. Sign up now for the Spring Session via the Parent Portal! ADDITIONAL FEES: Registration Fees and Performance Fees are NOT charged for our in-school programs! *NEW* SIBLING DISCOUNT: If you are enrolling additional children, a 10% discount will be offered for the second and third children. All additional fees are charged per family, not per student. We will not issue credits or refunds due to missed classes. You may call our office to make a reservation for a make-up class at another location during the same week (or during one of our school break camps). No refunds will be given if a student drops prior to the end of a session. NEW-STUDENT GUARANTEE: If after the first month of class, your child finds it is not a good fit for them, then they are under no obligation to continue in the program. If pre-paying, your tuition is refunded to you, minus the cost of the first month of class ($59), or if paying monthly, all future charges to your credit card will be stopped. We must receive written notification that your child will not be continuing at least a week prior to the end of the trial, otherwise this offer is null and void. Please call or email us if you have any questions, or you need to pay with a check instead of credit card. Contact our billing administrator, Julie Whelan, at [email protected] or 518-458-1313.

Each year our Drama Kids take to the stage in May to perform their Spring Plays! The performances serve to showcase our students' skill development over the course of the year. We begin our Spring Performance session with our students at the start of our Spring Session in February, and continue with rehearsals throughout May. This year our Spring Performances fall on May 21st, 22nd, 23rd, and 24th. This year ALL of our Spring Performances will take place at the Genet Elementary auditorium! More specifics will be available closer to the performances. Stay tuned for more specific details and times of your child's own Spring Performance! Notify us as soon as possible about any foreseeable conflicts with this schedule! Is the anticipation killing you? We know how you feel! Why not take a look at our 2017 Spring Performance highlight reel to hold you over! As you will see... the difference is dramatic! Can I sign my child up for both the Fall & Spring Sessions? Unfortunately, no. The Fall session is ONLY held for students in grades 3rd-5th, while the Spring Session is ONLY held for K-2nd graders.
What happened to #ProjectSilverScreen? Due to the rising costs and staffing that our previous film sessions required, we no longer offer our film project at any of our in-school locations. If you would still like to experience the magic of film-making, we would LOVE for your child to join us at any of our community locations held throughout Albany County! Our Film Academy classes run September through January. You chose a class based on a time, day and location that is convenient for you. Check out our list of classes here: dramakids.com/albany-ny/class-schedule/albany-county/ Or join us during one of our school break camps at Our Savior's School in Albany. During the February, April & Summer Breaks, we will be offering full & part-time camp options in conjunction with KidzArt & Club Scientific. Come make a movie with us during your child's break weeks! Register at: dramakids.com/albany-ny/vacation-summer-camps/ What is your Snow/ Bad Weather Policy? We follow the East Greenbush Central School District's closing policy. Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for inclement weather and cannot extend our term into future weeks, or offer refunds. We will try our best to use the emergency snow make-up days listed on the district calendar, but we can not guarantee the space will be available. However, if a class is missed due to inclement weather, a student may make it up by attending a class offered at a different Drama Kids location during the same week. What should my child wear to class? Whatever your child wears to school that day is fine! For the end of session performance, your child will be asked to provide their own costume. Costumes should cost little to no money. More details to follow. Additional questions? At anytime if you wish to contact us, call (518) 458-1313 or email your In-school Program Supervisor, Ellen Cribbs at [email protected], our Office Administrator at [email protected], or our Director, Deanna at [email protected]. |
