No, and here’s why. We firmly believe that ongoing skill development is essential to our students’ development as young artists and performers, and crucial to the success of our shows. This is where our students receive the foundation and skills needed to produce an amazing show. More important, it’s what they need to be the best performer they can be!
This is what sets Drama Kids apart from other children's drama programs. Instead of simply learning lines and putting on a show, our Drama Kids learn the art and skill of performing. The Drama Kids “secret sauce” is a fun, fast paced, and developmental curriculum consisting of over 450 unique and detailed lesson plans that ensures happy and successful students. They learn how to project and articulate their voices, use their body and facial expressions to portray a range of emotions, employ a wide range of characterization techniques and gain mastery in creative improvisation. But more than that, we are preparing our students for the stage of LIFE! Our progressive curriculum allows students to have some serious fun, while also enabling them to develop:

Unfortunately if Karyn HAS enroll in the Creative Dramatics class (which starts at 5pm) in order to be in the Film and Performance Academies, she will not be able to attend anymore. When I looked at the adjusted class times I saw that I would only be able to sign her up for the Film and Performance Academies as there is NO WAY I can get Karyn there for 5pm. It was difficult sometimes to get there for 5:45 pm. If it was 5:30 pm I could probably make it work but I work until 4:30 pm then have to pick all the kids up. Karyn is going to be devastated but I guess we need to try and find another drama class somewhere. Please let me know if the times or requirements change. Thank you. (518-694-6813) Sarah F. Hi Sarah, good news! Since Karyn will be going into 3rd grade next year, she will actually be in our Upper Primary class. The Upper Primary classes run later: 6:00-7:00 or 6:00-7:45pm. So that should work for her after all! :)
