Each week we will be choosing one of our dramatic classes to highlight for our #ClassoftheWeek! This week we have chosen the Guilderland Upper Primary Class! "Our Guilderland Upper Primary class is one of the most supportive and high-spirited groups I have the pleasure of teaching! Their imaginations are bigger than life, and their enthusiasm and kindness towards one another is inspiring. This class is a great mix of kids - we have Drama Kids receiving their sixth year trophies this year, and one who just joined last week! Our "seasoned veterans" are so welcoming - but no matter their experience level, they are all pros and one of the most DRAMATIC classes we have!" - Miss Kristyn "The Guilderland Upper Primary is so awesome, all of these kids are the reason Mondays are so amazing for me." - Sammijo In-Class Photo GalleryStay tuned for our #FilmFriday video premiering later in the week!

Each week we will be choosing one of our dramatic classes to highlight for our #ClassoftheWeek! This week we have chosen the DPS Elementary Upper Primary Class! "When I step back and think about the changes I have seen in this group of Drama Kids, I am truly amazed. I can't help but think back 5 years ago, when some of them joined their first DKI class as shy, quiet 1st graders. To watch them take the stage now with such strength and confidence, fills me with great pride. But the best part is watching as they pass that confidence down to our next generation of Drama Kids. Our newest students have grown so quickly in just 3 months and I truly believe it has to do with the outstanding role models they have to work with. They learn as much from each other as they do from us, and I must admit that they have all certainly taught ME a thing or two...or ten!" - Drama Mama In-Class Photo Gallery#ProjectSilverScreen Movies!
Stay Tuned for an all New #FILMFRIDAY video at the end of the week, starring DPS Upper Primary!"How can a class made up from so many different, unique personalities all work together as a whole? And not just work together, but trust, accept and encourage one another? To tell you the truth I'm not quite sure - but they do!!! Our Jr. Acting Academy exemplifies what it means to be a strong ensemble, including opening their arms to a few new students joining our spring performance session. I am so excited to see how their strong ensemble skills pay off in this year's murder mystery. We are going to have so much fun putting this all together!!!" -Drama Mama "FUN! Has been are overall theme this year in Drama Kids and this class definitely soars at just that. FUN! We have a class full of energy, determination, and creativity. Each student brings their own unique style to the classroom which we can't wait to create our Spring Performance with their amazing characters that will come to life through their creativity and their ability to have FUN! They give us teachers smiles and laughter each week! Can't wait to see what happens next!" -Miss Kathryn "Every time I teach this class, I can never truly expect what they will do! They are so accepting each other, even to the level of immediate friendship! Also they have been so nice to each other before, during, and after class! I'm excited to see this class develop their skills further with going into the spring performance session as actors and as an ensemble!" - Mr. Josh We are gearing up for our second session of classes which culminates in our special year end Spring Performance held at the EGG CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS in Albany, June 2, 3 & 4.
